Kelcey Mar, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, embarked on her healthcare journey at Rutgers University, driven by her interest in genetics. Drawing inspiration from her roles as a medical receptionist at a cardiovascular office and a medical scribe at Princeton Medical Center, Kelcey recognized the profound impact nurses can have on building meaningful connections with patients.
Motivated by this realization, Kelcey pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Rochester in Upstate New York. With a keen focus on acute care, she dedicated almost six years to practicing at Mount Sinai West in the heart of New York City. Kelcey developed a special interest in preventative medicine, driving her to attain a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Medicine at George Washington University.
Kelcey brings her experience and dedication to the field of asthma, allergy, and immunology. She envisions this specialty as a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on patients of all ages, offering relief and enhancing their overall quality of life. Outside of work, Kelcey cultivates a healthy lifestyle by reveling in outdoor hikes during warmer months and engaging in the empowering practice of barre classes all year round.
